Hello! My name is Emily Flake and I am currently a senior at UCA. I will be graduating in May of 2021 with my Bachelor's of Science degree in interior design with a minor in family and consumer sciences (FACS). I am involved with several campus organizations, including the Interior Design Scholars Program, which came into being at the start of my final semester at UCA. I have served as the vice president and secretary of the student chapter of ASID at UCA. Additionally, I am a member of Phi Upsilon Omicron, an honor society available to students specifically majoring or minoring in FACS. When I am not on campus, I work part time at several different jobs and enjoy watching anything on Netflix in my free time!

Growing up, I had always had a passion for design, but was not able to fully explore that passion until I started college. The interior design program at UCA has allowed me to meet and network with an abundance of industry professionals, as well as other students who share a similar passion for design. My favorite aspect of interior design is the customization that is available in both commercial and residential design. I find it a privilege to be able to help clients with the expertise and specifications that will make their dream space a reality!
